Any one ever go to Cape Canaveral

Wonder if any one has gone to Kennedy space center, and if so is it worth the trip. My children are 10 and 14 both girls, the 10 yo seems very intrested in going. And since we are going for 10 nights I think it will be a nice break from the parks......

VERY worth the trip, even if you aren't "into" the space program. The tours are fascinating and the museums have a lot of memorabilia. Take the behind the scenes tour for sure.

I live local and have only gone when it is free for county residents.

Their ticket prices are very high and I'm just not sure it would be worth it. I do know that we coudln't get everything in in one day--b/c we like to do the bus tour and that takes up a lot of time. We were there open to close and were not able to squeeze in the Imax movie and a few exhibits.

It's worth a trip--I'm not sure it is worth the price b/c I've never paid to go.
Maybe if you had a coupon or something.

It was just an okay trip for us.
DH worked at NASA as an intern and his father worked for NASA based in CA for his whole career, so DH wanted to see where his father went so many times.
We enjoyed the tour, but he was very disappointed in the rest, glad we went once, but we won't take the time to do it again.

We took our boys. Hubby and middle son loved it but they will sit in front of the history channel and watch stuff like that all day. I thought the tour and main part were great. Hubby opted for us to go on the "whole" tour. I think there were two other stops on there. It takes a while to go through it. It was a bit too long for the person with a casual interest (the tour hubby chose at least) I could have lived with just the main part. My oldest and youngest wanted to go back to the hotel and swim and hit the parks. I guess it really depends on the level of your interest.
