Any one been to vero beach in dec.

We are considering going between christmas and new years. Can anyone tell me what the weather was like or if there is anything special that goes on there that week?

We will be there Dec 25th for 4 nights, have been there many times for NYE - they have a dj and pool party for NYE. You never know about the weather some years warm some chilly but the pool is heated.

We went to VB in Dec we loved it. We went the 1st week in Dec and Disney was booked and we only got 4 days at Disney and they were going to move us to another resort so we decided to try VB. The kids loved it so much they thought it was the best part of their vacation. We were in a GV right on the beach and we had the whole beach to us. The ocean was ok (the kids went in) but the pool was great. We had an awesome time!!!! My vote DO IT!!!!! LOL

We just got back from a quick 2 night trip to VBR and we loved it. My kids just loved it there. We just booked for Dec. 26 - Jan 2. We were able to get all but 1 night in an OVIR and booked a GVIR for that one night and waitlisted for the OVIR. There were no 1 bedrooms, but plenty of GVIR according to MS. Better get a room before they are all gone! Here's hoping for good weather!
