Any off-site dining ideas to replace filet and crab legs?

I've been reading other threads about filet, prime rib, and crab legs disappearing from Disney restaurant menus. I am disappointed. :sad1:

We have ADRs for our 7-night stay in December at places that included these items on the menus. Now I'm thinking of cancelling some of these ADRs and dining off-site.

Can anyone recommend good off-site dining for items like filet, prime rib, lobster tail, and crab legs? Ideally, these restaurants wouldn't be any more than 30 minutes from Disney World.

Thanks!

Fulton's at Downtown Disney has lobster tail and crab legs. We'll be there in September for our special anniversary dinner.

Joe's Crab Shack. And I think there are two locations near WDW. (I have only been to the one on 192, near Celebration.
I have not eaten at the Lobster Fest. However I consistently hear it is an all you care to eat with not much in the way of quality type place.

1) Crab Legs
. . . Joe's Crab House, in Celebration, 2-miles from WDW Main Gate
. . . Boston Lobsterfest is pretty lame

2) Steaks
. . . KW Cools, Hwy 192, 2-miles from WDW West Gate
. . . Ruth Chris' Steak House, Sand Lake Rd, 5-miles from WDW East Gate

We really enjoyed Bahama Breeze on our March 2008 trip. They have a nice varied menu and both DH and my Dad enjoyed the steak selections. I loved my chicken dish as well.

We all enjoyed our Crab Claws St Thomas as an appetizer. One was more than enough for our party of 7 to share.

Anyone been to BOSTON LOBSTERFEST or JOE'S CRAB HOUSE lately? Reviews??

Thinking we might try a few off-site eateries next time :confused3

As this thread is asking for recommendations for offsite restaurants, it is being moved to the Orlando Attractions board.

Sorry!:guilty: :flower3:

And that is Boston Lobster FEST, I think.....

No problem! I am just wondering how you found it from three years ago. I can barely find something from two days ago on the boards. :rotfl:

:lmao: I feel your pain!!

Just DUMB luck....leave it to me!

Ans finally, it is Boston Lobster FEAST !!!!
