Any of the F&W booths have gluten free food?

I really, really want to try some of the Food & Wine stuff but I am gluten intolerant. Does anyone know if they have anything at the booths that is gluten free? Thanks!:goodvibes

But I would love to hear otherwise.

"Food items offered at the booths during the Food and Wine Festival are prepared in small kitchens and there may be a chance for cross-contact. For that reason, special dietary offerings and requests are not available. Please ask to speak to a chef or manager about gluten free items."

To echo what the PP said, if cross contamination is a problem for you, then you may be out of luck. The kiosks are really small, and even if they did get a whole new prep setup out for you, I doubt it would be gluten free. If you only have to worry about significant amounts of gluten then ask at the festival information desk, and you may be able to find a few items there that are gluten free. I think they have 5 or 6 items that are Lacto/Ovo Vegetarian friendly which is different, but they do try to have items that are ok for all types.

Hmmm, I am sensitive to cross contamination. I guess I shouldn't risk it then. It's a shame because the food sounds amazing! Thanks everyone.:goodvibes

Due to the fact that kiosk offerings are prepared either at the booth or in a common kitchen, and must be mass-prepared instead of cooked to order, it is difficult to find items that meet special dietary restrictions without cross-contamination. You'd need to check about each individual item.
