Any OCTOBER guests received FP+ testing invite?

Yes, I did. I had a RnR Rollercoaster FP+ for 6pm-7pm scheduled in case of Fantasmic. So to check, I just went in to change that FP+ choice only, and Fantasmic was an option. You might try changing one of your rides to that time period, then go back in and try to change that experience and see if it shows up! Hope that helps.

Do you get an invite to participate in the magicband via email or do you check your "my Disney experience" account looking for the invite. This whole thing has me a little confused. It sounds exciting and I hope we get chosen but anything new makes me nervous. We will be arriving at CBR on 10/19-10/26.

When you log into the Disneyworld website, you may get a pop up to customize. But, you can also just log in and click on the magic band heading under myDisneyexperience. They may already have them set up and ready for you to customize. They did for us. I had customized ours, set our FP+, and WDW had already mailed us the bands and they had been delivered to our door, and then I got an E-mail inviting me (about 2 weeks after I had already done everything). About 5 days after that E-mail, I got a UPS Express Envelope marked urgent delivered to my door, that included a paper invite.

Mine is the same way. We have room only Oct 16-18 & a pkg from 18-21 w/ 5 day tickets. My FP+ are available from the 18-22. We are at the same resort so I'm hoping we we check in & pick up our tickets we will be able to do the FP+ for the 1st 2 days.

Hmmmm, was helping my BIL and family customize their bands just now, (3) seperate ressies) and in the middle of going back and forth the option just disappeared !!!! What a tease Disney!

I'm trying to figure out how quickly the Magic Bands are sent. It says that I can modify them till October 1st as we are not checking in until October 31st. Does that mean that they won't be mailed out till after October 1st even though I completed them yesterday? Thanks!

They will mail out the day after the 1st. It gives you until 30 days before check-in to change customizations.

TRy going on to the MYD website. If you have started online check in, re-do it. If you haven't, start online check in. It just might trigger the site to then allow you to order magic bands.

You will be able to make FP+ selections for your entire stay since you are checking in in October. I think this will be a moot point as I believe full roll our will take place before November 1st.

checking into POFQ on October 19th, logged into MDE and there was the option to make FP+ choices. Did them for my room and my sis, customized and ordered the Magic Bands. Pretty exciting day.

I started customizing the bands and reserving FP+ around a couple of weeks ago. Monday I got the bands, today I got the invite in a document envelope from UPS.
