Any OCTOBER guests received FP+ testing invite?

The Mouse has my e-mail address I feel bad for people who don't log into MDE daily (all right multiple times) or follow the DIS. Who knows what will be left for FP+ by the time they figure out its an option for them.

Ihe has mine too, but I never got an email, instead it was an overnights letter that came the same day as my bands.....luckily I did login daily to MDE

My bands came yesterday. No email invitation as far as I know (unless I deleted it thinking it was junk). Who does the email come from? No paper invitation either.

It comes from Disney Destinations. I got my invite the day my bands shipped - 9/17 - and it indicated I could customize my bands until 10/5. Glad I was checking MDE before that!!

Ah. Thanks. I think I may have gotten an email then. Seems like I saw one from them recently. I don't usually read the ones from Disney Destinations. I always just associate them with news about Adventures by Disney and stuff like that so I just delete them without reading them.

YOU NEED TO READ THEM!!! Disney Destinations is also who sends the PIN codes for discount offers. You don't want to accidentally delete a good deal!

We got our MagicBands today! I almost hugged the UPS driver when he brought the box to my door.

29 Days!!!!

Mine are on the truck still on their way to my house!

Did you receive an email first telling you they were shipped? We are there the same dates (Oct 19-25) and this is the 2nd day the website says our MB's are being customized and shipped soon. I was really hoping they would come today!

Sorry, we are also Oct 19, but ours only said being customized and shipped soon for one day, yesterday. Then today email saying it was on their way. And I had gotten the UPS email saying to be delivered today.

Magic Bands have been delivered; can't wait for 4:45 to arrive so I can go home and look at them!

No invite yet from Disney to participate in the FP+ test.

Congrats! I know! I'm at work and DH is at the house. It's going to kill me to wait till after work to see them

I signed up for it yesterday and still nothing, so I guess they won't be coming today. Sigh...

Sorry, maybe Monday! I don't know how Disney does things. We're getting our MBs quick but alot of people with Oct 19 arrivals like us got their Mickey Mail days ago and we still haven't! (no TA, straight from Disney) So it seems it's just the luck of the draw with things.

We got our bands yesterday, and just now, UPS delivered a letter from Disney inviting us to be a part of the My Magic+ test. The letter says to customized our bands by Oct. 7.

Oh, good to know! Thanks! But one time I spoke with a CM on the phone about PINs and he told me the last date they had emailed me a PIN. It was like three months after our most recent trip. I felt like it was an un-vitation. They know my visitation history. So I felt like they sent it knowing I probably wouldn't use it because first of all I had just been there, and second, it wasn't for around the time of year I always go. :

I dunno...22 days here but I wanna pack and go now! Keep telling my partner that he should drop me off at the airport and I'll go "get our room ready for his arrival" and he can stay here till the 12th . He keeps telling me "NO!" And I don't know why, it sounds like a perfect plan in my head!

Us too! When I came downstairs this morning, DS(8) held up his hand first thing and said "28 more days, Mom. Up top!" and I gave him a high-five.

Just got our MB today. It isn't super comfortable. I am hoping it breaks in a little. I am also right at the cusp of needing the smaller size so maybe thats why.

The grey comes off to make it smaller, or you can cut the grey.

I am using the first hole of the gray. I think if I take the grey off it will be slighlty too small. I have three sets coming so I guess I can always try it one band. It is just a little weird since it isn't a round.

Don't peel it then, cause once you peel it there's nothing to secure it back in place. I had to use a bead of super glue to put mine back.

I'm wondering if it's actually going to be rather busy that week since they extended some park hours last week. We always go in "slower" months and this is our first October trip, and also the first time the MK is open till midnight during our trip. We're used to the parks closing by 9...is this a sign it will be busier?

I'm super bummed our MB's aren't arriving today like we expected. Oh well...guess I'll have to busy myself this weekend with some pre-packing and Disney trip shopping!

Yeah, I keep thinking if I spent four weeks AT Disney time would fly by and my trip would be over before I knew it but when you are waiting four weeks to GO to Disney time moves in slow motion! How is that possible?
