Any obvious omissions?

OK, I have Gatwick car park and hotel. Flights, DME, car hire, APs, DVC accomodation.

No ADRs yet but we are talking January.

Is there anything very basic I have forgotten?

Can't help, but you'll probably be better on the UK Trip Planning.
I'm sure a Mod will move this to help you :)

I'm just going to move this over to the UK Trip Planning Board, as you should get plenty of help there :thumbsup2

$ and traveller's cheques?
Insurance?
Theme Park tickets?
Road maps?

Anything specific you need to pack, such as medicines, toileteries, things you cannot do without? Electrical plug adaptor etc?

Have you thought about groceries when you get out there, where the nearest supermarket is for example.

A rough plan or itenary? Must admit after the first couple of days we tend to just see how we feel each day.

I think you've got it covered there :thumbsup2

Thanks guys - how silly of me to put it in the wrong forum!

I have Insurance but I do need to get some T/Cs and currency to go with my citibank card.

I have heard about an Orlando Map that is rather different - Orlandomaps? Anyone used this and is it worth getting?

We got a pretty good map from here, www.disneymaps.co.uk

Must admit we are pretty good now with directions, and also dind the map we get from Dollar quite useful.

Recently bought the map from the link Johnny has posted for our upcoming trip :cheer2: . Although we have been a few times like to have a good map & this one is great for the Disney, 192 & Int'l Drive area.

That was the map I was wondering about. I have an Orlando A-Z street map but that one looks far more useful for finding restaurants and such like. It seems a pretty good price to. Pity I will need it just before he prints the updated version! :)

That's what I thought - you're welcome to my copy when we get back. We come back on 31st December so if it's ok just let me know. :thumbsup2

That is very kind of you but it will be a bit tight before we go and I would probably feel better paying the man for all the work he has done!

Hi Mikki
Why not upgrade your car to one with GPS??
Then if you decide to go further afield than Orlando.. you won't be stuck??
Alternatively, if you're taking a lap top.. try a google map/directions??
You can't go wrong over there.. it's either north, south, east or west.. quite sensible really!
