any NON-DVC AP to DVD PAP reports?

I am a new DVC owner and have APs I purchased before I was an owner. I have read the reports of people getting the good fortune of getting their DVC AP upgraded(downgraded?) to DVC PAP and getting a refund . I was just wondering if anyone out there had attempted to turn a non-DVC AP into the $399 DVC PAP...

I think it is doubtful. I was not allowed to change my DVC standard AP to a PAP earlier this month. They had me purchase a PAP renewal voucher at $399 for when my current DVD standard AP expires in May, 2013. And they said they can NOT refund any difference in price.

This info came from both a Guest Services CM and his manager, and likely they've stopped any refunds.

Most of the successful upgrades I'm seeing reported here are for AP to PAP vouchers, not for active passes.

Thanks for the info! I definitely thought it was a long-shot, but figured I would ask. We're going to look at our plans for the coming year and maybe purchase vouchers also...
