Any Nip/Tuck fans here?

I just started watching it this season and I am hooked. But none of my family, friends or co-workers watch it so I can't talk to any of them about it.

The latest epi "Oona Wentworth" was so good and yet so absurd. I was actually yelling at the TV at some parts. Also, the truth comes out about Ava and her son Adrien. I kinda already knew but to actually see it. Wow, wow, wow!

I plan on seeing the seasons I missed on DVD sometime.

I tend to watch it only when I feel the need to be completely shocked !! I cannot believe that some of what they say/do/show can be seen on TV. But I do enjoy the show, I'm just amazed by it.

I've been hooked from the start, and a couple of my friends are too. I knew Ava was a freak and the hints about her relationship with that sicko son of hers were there from the beginning.

I really despise Julia and am enjoying watching her suffer. I know that sounds mean, but she is just pathetic.

Great show, lots of good acting. Never know what will happen!

It is nothing if not shocking! We have been hooked from the beginning also.

Bobotox....we cracked up!

absolutely hooked! the show is so unbelievable, you can't help but be mesmerized!

My wife and I didn't miss an episode during season 1, but we keep forgetting that the show is on and have only seen a few of the season 2 shows. I think that I liked season 1's storyline better than what I've seen of this year's offering.

I really liked season 1. Season 2 is hanging on by a thread with me. I haven't seen this weeks episode yet. I guess I'll have to see what's up with Ava.

I totally agree. I used to be on the edge of my seat last year, and the season finale was fantastic. This year it seems kind of all over the place. I hope they get it all together before the finale.

I do like it as well. This season is a bit bizarre though.

Can someone give me spoilers? Somehow, the TIVO did not tape it.

Thanks!

I found Nip/Tuck during the summer (thank goodness they ran all the episodes in order!) I love the show. I have missed a few episodes this season because of it being on the same time as the Amazing Race. The last I had seen was Julia falling through the glass window. Can someone update me from there? The previews for the following week had looked like a freaky dream.

I missed this week's episode too. They keep saying that it's going to be rebroadcast at a certain time then when I go to watch it is actually Rescue Me?!

So far I think season 1 is better. I agree that this season seems to be all over the place.

Let's see if I can remember the last 2 episodes since Julia's accident.

Julia wanted Sean to fix her face. Sean refused to at first, but ended up working on Julia. Christian had to lie about Julia's next choice having 'botched' a procedure or something to that effect.
Julia also asked Sean/Christian to take out her implants from last episode.

While Julia was under, she had an alternate reality/dream sequence with Ava as her 'life coach.' This was Julia's 'what-could've been life' if she stayed with Christian (after they slept together) instead of going back to Sean after. Julia and Christian were the partners, had a gorgeous mansion, 'sex and drugs' lifestyle but Julia couldn't have kids.

They ask Sean if he would like to take over for Christian. Sean was with doctors without borders and to Megan and their son was a 'nerdy' Matt. Sean tried it out, Julia made a pass at him, and Sean turned her down. In the end, Julia was still miserable and Ava turned out to be the angel of death. Julia refused to die so she awoke and Sean was there.

Whew!

As for last night's episode, where to begin. Christian tries to save Merrill Bobolit and takes him to drug counseling but when Christian didn't show up, Merrill breaks down, kills a J-LO wanna be patient (at the back of a nail salon) during a lipo, and tries to cut off Christian's face to exchange for his but ends up passing out.

Ava goes nuts re. Adrien and their no-no relationship is shown. Sean takes back control of raising/disciplining Matt. There was a very good scene at the principal's office where Sean tells Ava off. This is all I can remember. Hope this helps.

My mom and I love this show!!! This and Rescue Me, our faves. But neither are "family shows" to say the least. Definitely not for the conservative minded viewer. Well as they say, viewer disecretion advised and they're not kidding!!!!

As for the rebroadcasts, I'm not sure if it's the same for you. But after the usual episode of Nip/Tuck airs, after that is a re-broadcast of Rescue Me from the week before, and then after Rescue Me is the rebroadcast of that night's Nip/Tuck.

Love Nip/Tuck!

Quick question about Adrien and Ava. Are they really mother and son who are in love, or were they putting up a front pretending to be son and mother? Even after last nights show, I still can't figure it out! With Nip/Tuck being as shocking as it is, I still assumed they were mother and son who kissed. (Twisted, I know...)

I don't think that he is really her son, I think that she seduced him and he left his real family.

I really like this show, it's taking the place of my dear departed Sex in the City. There are only 2 shows on tv right now that I TiVo, Nip/Tuck and While You Were Out. When the O.C. starts I will have 3.

Wow, thanks so much Lyn-CA for that recap. That was great!

Thanks Trinity721 for the schedule tips. I'll have to set the VCR and hope for the best!

I love this show. Loved season one even more, though. Still, haven't missed an episode. Gotta get those TIVOs people!

I hope they are going to show that they are not really mother and son. Never can tell with this show, though.
