Any news or updates on Purple Magic Bands?

Hi, just checking if any of you awesome Disney lovers have heard any news or whispers about when the purple magic band will actually and finally be available? I thought I had read fall 2015? I am going with friends in January 2016 and would love a purple band to be brought out by then! Please let me now if you've heard any credible reports?? Thank you and excited for my second trip!!

If you reeeeally want a purple band, go ahead and paint it yourself. I did mine yesterday and it came out even better than I expected. I used a metallic purple craft paint. Just seal it with a coat of clear nailpolish. I'm a purple girl too =)
