Any News On The New MK Restaurant?

I think it is related to Beauty & The Beast? I have bounced around so many sites I can't remember if there was a date posted on when it might open. We will be there this Sept and was just wondering if anyone has any info on it yet. Thanks!!

It is beauty and the beast...but no, nobody knows too much.

The have said it will be a fast food place at lunch and sit-down at night. (which makes sense in their world, but i loathe the idea moving forward)

It may be a "dinner show" type thing at night...if so it will most likely be another buffet. If it is merely a themed restaurant it may just be an a la carte menu.

They will apparently have different rooms to recreate scenes from the movie...but details are sketchy.

There will also be Gaston's "tavern"...which would make sense in the studios where this should probably be located in the first place...so it can actually be a tavern.
The only thing they can really do with this is serve chicken fingers and bad pizza. I believe this portion is a response to the incredibly popular "butter beer" dispensary over at Universal IOA...but with no alcohol capability it seems very out of place.

It may open in the general range you are going...some speculation is august. but it may not until later as well. no official date.

Logically it will open no later than october 1...as it will have 6 weeks of shakedown time before thanksgiving and be fully operational for the holiday crush (why anyone goes at that time...nobody has been able to give a valid reason)

The actual name is "Be Our Guest" and all we really have it that it will not serve breakfast, will be a CS restaurant at lunch, and TS at dinner only. No firm dates, no menus, no dining plan info yet.

Butter beer at Universal is not alcoholic and it is sickeningly sweet, which appears to be a minority opinion because people love it. But I think most of the reason they love it is because they are drinking butterbeer in Hogsmeade. I'm not sure Disney can recreate that. Anywhere else it's just going to be cups of sweet cream soda with foam.

I am really hoping that the Be Our Guest Restaurant will be opened by the end of August

That would be great if it did open the end of August since we will be there then! A new restaurant to try is always nice
