Any news on the BC gift shop rehab?

Has anyone seen what is going on at that location and when it will be done? Is the rumor still that it's going to include a fast food type area?

Just returned from a week at BCV . Trip report coming soon...

I spoke with a CM at the temporary store. She said it was going to be like the one at SSR with tables and counter service for breakfast/snack items right in the store. Haven't been to SSR so I don't know exactly what it's like.

Thanks for the info! Did she give you an idea of when it will be ready? Were you able to still use part of the gift shop?

I didn't get any time frame on when it would be finished. My guess is it still had 2-3 months to go.

The temporary store is in a small space further down the hallway (heading away from the lobby) next door to the real Atlantic Wardrobe. I think I read it was a daycare center before? It is very small, but they did carry milk, ice cream, and other "essentials". It had a small selection of souveniers as well.
