We are going next week and I was wondering if anyone knew yet how the hotel MM is going? I am "assuming" that carsland will be part of it but just would love to hear for sure what to expect.

Also since I have heard that prob the FP's won't be available we thought we would go do RSR and the other rides and look around Carsland before the mob hits and then as SOON as it hits 8 a.m. grab a FP for that evening.

Any ideas from those in the know?

Carsland is open during DCA EMH. And you are correct, FP is not available until park opening. You will probably see people lining up for the RSR FP during EMH.

Thanks that is what I figured. I have a feeling that we will be in that line LOL. I really want to get on it first thing and then be able to do it "again" at night as I heard it is cool with the neon and such. Geez I am so nervous. Hope it isn't completely nutso. ;)

We did a DCA MM on Monday. We entered via the GCH entrance and was sent to the front of the park. There were a lot of people in the queue for RSR fastpasses.

We went straight to the racers. They did not start running the attraction until closer to park opening. Luigi's Flying Tires and Mater's Junkyard Jamboree were open for the MM. When we got to the RSR the wait time was at 120 minutes (during the MM).

Disney4Us2, what other attractions were open during MM, besides Carsland attractions?

Yikes. That's crazy!! Well I guess we will just take our chances. Honestly the other two rides don't interest me so if we get to do them great but if not oh well. We only have 1 day at DCA and when we go in Dec we are not able to stay on property so really hoping we get on it.

I wonder if it is better to use the main entrance rather than the GCH entrance? Will that get you to the Carsland area faster?

ttg I thought the same thing too. We are coming from the DLH and I was worried that going through the Grand Cal we would be farther away. Anyone have any advice on that??

I almost wondered too since all the hotels are on THAT side and since the EMH is ONLY for hotel guests if they would have everyone coming from the GCH entrance but then again that is small so it would probably be a pain. Will be interesting that's for sure!
