Just wondering if anyone else is flying out of Bangor March 25th?

We would love to be but sadly no. We did last July though and it was a piece of cake.

Not this year but i have in the past .I do have a tip though Dont leave your car at the airport . Thera are several hotels that you can park your car at in exchange for a one nite stay they will even take you to the airport for free .

Depending on your budget, there is a Four Points Sheraton attached to the airport. You don't even need to walk outside to get to the terminal. They also have the park and fly option.


We stayed there last summer the bight before we left and the night we returned and had no problems.

We flew out of Maine last year, I would never fly out of NB for the difference in price, plus it gives me a chance to shop at Target....LOL

We are flying out of New Hampshire this year, on Southwest, for the price, we figured an extra couple of hours would be worth it....my only concern is the weather!! We have had such a mild winter, I keep waiting for it to catch up! We drive Mar 1, so I am crossing fingers!!

We flew out of Maine last year, I would never fly out of NB for the difference in price, plus it gives me a chance to shop at Target....LOL

We are flying out of New Hampshire this year, on Southwest, for the price, we figured an extra couple of hours would be worth it....my only concern is the weather!! We have had such a mild winter, I keep waiting for it to catch up! We drive Mar 1, so I am crossing fingers!!

We love the Bangor airport. Only 3 hours away. I am chicken to use it in winter though. We only go in the summer.

I did find a hotel thru park/sleep/fly?? that lets you leave your car for up to two weeks, if you spend the night. THey also shuttle you to the airport. It is a sheraton, and I think it was 122 taxes in US, for the night and two weeks parking, I thought it was pretty good. We are on the first flight in the morning....we leave at 6am , and arrive in orlando around 10am. We also fly out of orlando at 6am, and arrive back in NH around 10am. This gives us the entire day to get home, and lets us enjoy our first day in florida at the resort.


The price was 541 taxes in Us for four of us to fly, non stop roundtrip. There is no way I would have gotten a deal like that out of Maine.

Wow, excellent price. What airline are you on?

I was watching for them to release the 59$/each way fares for march, and I booked the day they came out. If you wait, you will miss those fares.

I just checked every morning on the southwest web site, and booked right away!

THe great thing about southwest, is that if they release a lower fare, and you are already booked, they will give you credit towards another flight up to a year away.

We have flown them before, and they are very no frills, but for four of us at that price, I really don't care!
