Any new updates on T I G G E R

I thought the same, the punk kid is messing with Tigger's costume and Tigger was trying to get air, not punch the kid. It's so sad that this kid's parents are trying to bilk Disney for money instead of sending that kid to room with no dinner!

I think the response of folks like us is what will help Disney realize that there will be no negative publicity for them so they don't have to cave and give these shysters anything else (they've already gotten way more special attention than they deserve IMO!). Here is where you can show support for Tigger, even email him with your personal regards (link is also at the top of the main forum list):

I wish there was a way we could all let this Tigger know that all of these people are behind him. Like a petition or something, so he could see all the support he has.

Someone could start one. Just have each signer put his username and "supports Tigger" and if someone knows Tigger, they could send it to him.

We are leaving in 48 days to go to WDW. I plan on making a pin with the I Support Tigger clip art that is in some peoples siggies.

That's awful!!!!
My favorite part was that the dad kept using fighting words like clocked and he looks like he was barely hit. Honestly, the fact that Tigger restrained him shows he was defending himself. I hope this family gets what they deserve!!! They are like those people who look for the wet floor signs, look for wet floor away from the signs slip and sue!!! These are the people that make everything so hard for us honest people.

One thing I never noticed before is that the moron kid is wearing black gloves - why would he be wearing gloves on such a warm day? And at Disney? Just a dork fashion statement? ;)

Check out the slide show WFTV (local TV) posted and watch step by step to see the events - on #7 it looks like Tiggers head is being pulled off the costume to me:

Also #13 the costume looks pulled up in the back, looking at the earlier photo's it looks like Tiggers head sits on the back of the costume but after the incident it's pulled up and looks wrong.

As to the gloves he's wearing the look like skate gloves. The type of gloves skate boarders use with the fingertips cut off. Like these: http://www.skates.com/PhotoDetails.asp?ShowDESC=N&ProductCode=2110

Wow I never knew all the time I spent hanging out at the half pipe would pay off...lol

I am glad to hear the CM is back to work :)

the thing i noticed about the slide show is how the kid is still smiling after he was so "painfully punched" and still hanging on the tigger. if it hurt so bad i am pretty sure your facial expression would change and you'd back away, not keep hanging on with what the kid describes as a side hug...come off it.

Just remember that the DIS cannot be used to organize letter-writing camapaigns, petitions or e-mail campaigns.

I Watched the slow motion version of the video....Tigger first wraps his right arm around the kids arm because the kid is obviously doing something behind Tiggers back then Tigger reaches for his own head(probably to keep it on) and then reaches for the kids arm with his left arm. As he reaches, he hits the kid in the face. The kid is not hit hard... the kids glasses aren't even moved and the kid is still playing around. It really apears Tigger accidentaly hit the kid in the face (NOT HARD ENOUGH IN MY OPINION) when reaching to grab the kids arm.

I agree that it looks like Tigger's head is much more up in the air when you look at the slide that is frame by frame. By the end you can easier see a longer neck on the back of Tigger. And I wonder how close he almost came to popping off the head. I suspect they are pretty hard to come off, just in case a character falls.
But wouldn't some guests think that would be a video worth a lot to have a one of a surprised WDW Tigger publicly decapitated? That certainly would be all over the news in no time flat.
If you look at shot 12 and 13 of 16 to me there looks like a lot of Tigger back neck area where you would think the head would be resting. Not to mention was the head moved enough the CM could no longer see?
