Any new news on the HM gift shop?

My DH heard the the HM was getting and gift shop very soon, has anyone heard where it will be or when it will be opening?

Opening Fall 2014 at the site of the former Yankee Trader shop.

I read somewhere that the Yankee Trader closure was scheduled through September 30th. So ostensibly October 1???

I don't remember where I saw this information but it was either an official Disney site, or a site re-postiing official Disney info.

No official opening date...but it will reopen October 1st in the old Yankee Trader shop. No word on name change yet.

No outside work has been done.

Just to clarify: You're saying when the shop re-opens it will still be Yankee Trader, and it will later be closed again to change to the HM theming???

The Yankee Trader shop had it's last day of operation on July 27, 2014. When it reopens in the Fall, it will be a Haunted Mansion themed merchandise location and there is no official word on a name yet.
