I've been reading here about how it's supposed to open soon, wondering if anyone has an updated projected opening. Hoping to dine there in October!

I walked by there yesterday and there was a sign outside confirming that it was opening in a week. The gift shop looks like it is going to be really good. I saw T-shirts and signs that read "Run Forest Run" and "Stop Forest Stop"!

Okay MIB999999, I'm curious, I am trying to make tentative dinner plans, is Mythos a must do? We'll be at US/IOA for 4 nights, need dinner for three of them and lunch for all four. Any suggestions oh guru?

I think Mythos is a must-do...and FYI they're not always open for dinner, so lunch would be the best time to go.

We have been to the Buba Gumps in Charleston SC and found it to be a good place to eat but more on theme than great food.Don t get me wrong the food wasgood but I thought very much the same as a Joe s Crab Shack or even Red Lobster. If you are a fan of the movie you will like the theme and the gift shop is full of great stuff.

Bubba Gump opened on the day that we left Saturday 7/29/06. When we went to check out of our room, Forest Gump himself was in the lobby passing out chocolates! This was at the RPH, but I am sure that he visited the other hotels beforehand.

Just returned today from Universal. Ate at the restaurant yesterday for lunch and walked right in. The food, service, and atmosphere was absolutely awesome. For dinner I would definitely recommend reservations.
