Any National coupons for Sunday-Friday?

Most of the National coupons I've seen require a Saturday night stay. Anyone know of something that can be used for a Sunday-Friday reservation?

The only one in the Entertainment book is a 1 car upgrade coupon that is valid any time.

The Entertainment Club $20 off weekly rental coupon does not require a Saturday night stay, just a weekly rental. In fact, the coupon actually requires a 5-Day minimum keep, so long as it bills out as a weekly rate. With National, many 5-day rentals will end up as weekly rentals so long as the return time is at least as late in the day as the pick-up time. Try the Priceless code (6600330) and the Entertainment $20 off coupon (10009123) with your dates and see what you come up with. You would have to get an Entertainment book, of course, if the rate is attractive enough.

That's very interesting. I have the $20 Off Weekly Rental coupon printed from the National web site after accessing it via the Entertainment Club web site (with my Entertainment Club login obtained when I purchased the book). The ones I've printed (I actually printed 4 copies so I have enough for a number of rentals during 2005) has a 5-Day Minimum (14-Day maximum) allowable keep. Same Contract ID and Coupon ID. I'll have to check what the coupon printed in the book says, but I have no concern about the minimum stay requirement, since my January booking (for only 6 days) was accepted by the National web-based reservation engine and my printed coupon is very clear in the minimum stay requirement. Note that the coupon I printed comes from the National web site rather than from the book itself, so they can easily be different. It might also be the case that there are differences between the coupons in various regional editions of the Entertainment Club books.

Here's the URL to the coupon.

Ralph,

We have the same book. The info I posted was directly from the Entertainment web site. I went through that site and got the same thing you did. That coupon says nothing about a 7 day keep, unlike the entertainment book page...

I would not have any worries about using that coupon....

Here is what it says on the National page that you can print out (as Ralph stated).

$20 Off Weekly Rental
Valid for the rental of a midsize or larger car in the United States and Canada.
5-Day minimum (14-Day maximum) allowable keep.
Offer valid through 12/31/05.
Request Contract ID 5066914
Request Coupon ID 10009123

Have fun.

We have a Sun-Fri stay planned for April. I used the Priceless Code 6600330 along with Ent Coupon 10009123. Came up with a rate that I'm happy with - $149 for full-size. Good Luck!

Ralph, thank you so much for posting the coupon. I needed one for my Jan. 15th trip!

Hey Ralph,

It looks like you didn't mean to do it, but I've been able to link to that coupon without buying an Entertainment book. Also, as far as I can tell, I don't need to show anything to use that coupon. Is that right?

I have the entertainment book and that same link.... I don't see why anyone can't click that link and print out the coupon..... it doesn't say it came from my or Ralph's account, as far as I can see......

I wonder if we have stumbled on a way to get more National coupons to people....... hmmmmmm

I just joined the Emerald Club and booked an intermediate for our April trip using the Priceless code and the $20 Ent. book coupon and got a rate of 133.73 for the week...a good rate to start with! :cool1:

No, actually I posted the link intentionally. The coupon is coming from the National web site, not the Entertainment Book site. The EB just links to it and it does contain the EB codes, but since it's part of the National site, I figured there was no obvious restriction on its access.

Well then, thanks for the $20. I'll try too put it to good use.

By the way, I got a weekly Emarald Aisle reservation for the 2nd week in February for $112, tax included, using the Priceless code and this coupon.

Anyone know if the coupon in the link can be given to the Emerald Club kiosk in the garage or if you really need to go to the counter? And, just to confirm, has anyone used this one with the priceless contract code instead of the one printed on the coupon?

Thanks!

Thank you Ralph. I have been looking for a discount code for February for awhile and thanks to your posting tonight I booked and got a 7day rate of $129.95 with pickup at airport and drop off at the Dolphin for week of Feb1 to 7.

I tried to book a second week with pickup at the Dolphin drop off at MCO and found that the rate is $142. (so I only booked for one day, the day I go back to the airport and fly home as I do not really need a car for the second week).

for the information of readers: the discount coupon printed out (thanks to Ralph) includes the Entertainment book coupon discount, thus the entertainment book is not needed as the printed coupon includes both rates on the one coupon

Can you use this coupon with the priceless Contract ID or do you have to use the Contract ID on the coupon? Thanks!!

Yes you can. I used it with the Carlson Code last August... no problem. I have a car in June booked with Priceless and this coupon and I have no worries..
