We have a big family vacation to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure in March, and it'll be my our first time :woohoo: I was just wondering if there are any must-do rides or must-see shows........ (I love  thrill rides!) Any advice would be appreciated!

You MUST DO Hulk! If you possibly can, 1st row, put your hands up before the ride even starts to move.

You MUST DO Dr Dooms Fearfall (at least once, thats all I can take)

You MUST DO Dueling Dragons, both sides...feels like you are flying :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

You MUST DO Spiderman, I dont consider it a thrill ride but its awesome :thumbsup2

You MUST DO Mummy. Over and over probably. :goodvibes

There are lots of others but I'll give someone else a turn.

It is a surprising ride, in a good way.

Hulk is the better ride but way more intense.

You must see the Horror Make-Up Show at Universal.

IMO, the best ride in IOA is Spiderman & the best ride in USO is Mummy - both are very unique to Universal - lots of excitement that most people of all ages can handle.

You must see Beetlejuice Graveyard Review and Blue Brothers Show - both my personal favorites if ride lines are too long!

You must ride Men in Black...And try to beat everyone in your car!

Seconded :thumbsup2

You MUST see the Blues Brothers (if you like that kind of music)

You MUST do Spiderman, Hulk and Duelling Dragons

You MUST do the Mummy and MIB

i cant believe that nobody has said the classics of USO: Back to the Future, Jaws. and at IOA my favorites: dudley do right, and Jurassic Park

back to the future isn't a favorite of everyone, many people think it's too rough.

Absolutely Must!
Also you must visit The Mystical Fountain at IOA. Bring a cell phone to sacrifice. :umbrella:

I completely second this - it makes me so nauseous, even with a good anti-nauseant. I avoid this ride like I avoid the plague.

If you go to Hard Rock Cafe don't forget to ask about the free, backstage tour :thumbsup2

I second the Horrow Makeup show at Universal. It is the hidden gem of the entire park

Whats this? Never heard of this one.

:hippie:

I'm not bothered by motion sickness at all, but I didn't like Back to The Future at all. It's very rough and just not that exciting.

Other must-do's:

Mummy - Best ride at USF.

Terminator - One of the best 3D shows I've seen.

Spiderman - Best ride at IOA. Actually, it's my favorite ride of all of Universal and Disney. It's such a unique combination of 3D, special effects, theming, and motion, all put together. There's really no other ride like it anywhere.

Hulk and Dueling Dragons - Both are super intense, thrilling coasters.

#1 Spiderman - AWESOME RIDE! Technology is out of this world and worth every minute waiting!

#2 The Hulk - The take off is unreal

#3 Jaws - Old but a classic

I haven't been since Mummy but I heard that ranks right up there!
