Last time I visited Disney World, was in 1999. While there I got hooked on Frozen Monkey Tails (frozen bananas, dipped in chocolate and rolled in nuts) that were available at various frozen snack kiosks throughout the parks. We're visiting again next month and I'm dying to know if they're still available there. We've looked at all the lists we can find of snack foods and don't see them, but have heard they might still be there. Has anyone had them there recently?

Yes, I had one in September. I don't think they are called monkey tails anymore though.

Congrats on your upcoming trip!

I think some grocery stores are now carrying these...I know my Giant Eagle has them in the "frozen novelties" section......might hold you over til you get to the world:goodvibes

Have fun!!!

They are sold at every ice cream cart, as of Dec 2011, so they are avail at every park about every 75-100 feet.;) They are my favorite of the items sold at the cart and they do count as a snack credit on the dining plan.

Thanks everybody! I'm so happy to know they're still there!
I'm in Canada and have never seen anything similar in our grocery stores here. I have, however, made them myself at home. Yummy...but don't evoke the same feeling as sharing them with loved ones in a Disney park. ;)
