HELP!! I'm trying to put together a booklet. It has 13 pages, and I can't seem to figure out a way to make it print right. I want to use regular size paper, and make each page of the booklet a column. So I get two pages per sheet of paper. but when you fold them together, the pages aren't in the right order.

So now I'm sitting here trying to figure out which side of the paper I need to put each "page" so that when they're folded together the booklet will be in the right order. This is not working well for me....:headache:

Is there a template somewhere that I'm missing? I feel like such an idiot.:guilty:

I don't know if this helps, but I always go to office online for help:

What you are trying to do is pretty confusing for someone who is not great in word. I will try to keep it as simple as I can:

1. Make sure you have the paper set for Landscape
2. I would use "tables" instead of columns, much less complicated.
3. When you have paper landscaped, insert a table (up to Table/insert/1 row, 2 columns)
4. Stretch the columns to make 2 equal boxes that you will be able to type in, this will keep you on the correct page.
5. Keep in mind that you are working on back/front of pages in the book so the way it appears on the screen you will be turning the pages around after printing, so you will have to reverse pages, I would keep it to 1 sided pages unless you can photo copy 2/1 page.

good luck, it's very confusing, just concentrate on which way the page has to go and keep messing with it until you get the wording going in right direction. Sorry I couldn't make it easier for you because it really is just a trial and error thing.

If you have "Page maker" from Microsoft, it would be easier.

To get the pages correct if you can't find a templet or listing, print them all out full page, then put it together so you know which pages will go with which one to get your self lined up.

So the front page would be on the same "page" as the back, the first page as you open would go on the first page from the back etc. It will look really goofy to you as you put it together.
