Any major road construction from Nashville-Atlanta-Orlando?

I looked at the DOT websites for TN, GA and FL and nothing in particular jumped out at me, but does anyone know if there are any major road projects on I-24, I-75 or FL Turnpike going on right now? I know there are some projects, but just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to need to try and avoid anything specific.

Also, even though I used to live there and should know this, how bad will traffic be on a Tuesday afternoon 3:30-4:00 going through Atlanta (north)? We normal travel home on a Saturday, but we've mixed it up this time and we'll be going through there at that time on a Tuesday. Thanks.

Have you considered driving through Alabama? It's more miles, but so much easier. Last June, we hit Atlanta on a Wednesday at 3:45 and didn't make it out until about 5:30. I will never drive through there again.

I know there's some construction between Nashville and Chattanooga - my husband was stuck in it last weekend.

And driving through ATL is a mess any time you do it. But I would rather go through there than detour through Alabama.

Thanks. We'll be between Chattanooga and Nashville around 8:00 a.m. on a Saturday (tomorrow!), so hopefully we won't get tied up too much. I hate going through ATL, but I hate going 60-70 miles out of my way through Alabama too. I'm not concerned for tomorrow since it will be around 10:30 a.m., but passing through there on a Tuesday late afternoon will probably be ugly. On the bright side, we gain an hour going home.

Tn has some MAJOR construction on I-65 South right now. It has traffic backed up for miles every day (right in front of Nashville). Not sure if the lanes are closed on weekends or not but I think they are working on a bridge so it prob is. You could take Briley Parkway to bypass it.
