Has anyone ever been able to check in and get into their room prior to noon?

We will be staying at CSR and requested CRO note early arrival on ressies. We've got our fingers crossed.

Thanks!!:p

it depends on the time of year (i.e., how full they are)...
we've gotten a room at 9 am and at noon....

i would call directly to the hotel a few days before to see what your chances are...
i've also called the day before (as well as the same day to see if the room is ready)....

We arrived at ASMOo inJuly 2000 at 7.45am and were checked in, unpacked and at the park by 8.45am.:Pinkbounc
We thought this was amazing.
It obviosly depends on having a room available from the previous day. The CM's will do their best if a room is ready.

Maybe it's our luck but we have always checked in early. At every single hotel from the Poly, WL, POP, BWI, CSR etc & we always arrived between 11 am to noon & have never had to wait for a room. Now mind you we usually go in Sept or early Dec but at the POP and CSR it was late Mar. But we were fully prepared to leave our luggage & head to the park or have lunch if the room wasn't ready. If you have that mindset & don't expect your room to be ready you'll be fine :smooth:

We always check in early . We have only had to wait one time until 3:00 pm for our cabin. I have arrived to FW at 2:00 am :earseek: and I have arrived at 10:00 am and we were able to check in. We were charged extra the night we checked in at 2:00 am. :wave2:

I checked into the Poly at 8:45 this past July 2nd, and our room was ready!!!:bounce:

Week of Easter this year, I checked in at 1:00 pm, and got my room by 1:30 pm. This was at POR. Even if I couldn't get my room until 3:00, there were other things to do while waiting. Good luck.

At both AKL and YC, I have arrived at 8:00 am, checked in and had immediate access to our room. This has happened a couple times at each place. However, there have also been times when I arrived early and could not get into the room until 3:00. It just depends on how busy the resort is and whether you are lucky enough to have been assigned a room which happens to be open.

We could have checked in at 8:00 AM at WL last week, but got the option of getting bunkbed room (which DS really wanted) so we decided to wait--DS wanted to check again at 9:00, though I told him it wouldn't be ready--but it was!

coronado springs hotel 06/02
Room was also ready at the time of arrival 11:00a . Complimentary up grade to bay view.....

All start resort same thing early arrival 10a 06/03
room ready took a little effort in finding something close to the food court like I wanted it. but we were in right away.

Keep fingers crossed there is always lots of movement in and out of the hotels.

HAVE FUN AND ENJOY THE HOTEL NOT JUST THE PARKS !!!

janie91,
We were charged the full nights rate for checking in that early. Which was ok and I expected to pay it. I was glad they had something available.

Two years ago we checked in at CSR about 9:00 and were offered several rooms to choose from. Last year we checked into CBR around 11:00 and room in Martinique (our first choice) was ready. We just returned from POFQ and checked in at 10 and our room was ready.

I don't plan on getting our room that early and we do, if I planned on it, it probibly wouldn't happen.

Only time I ever had to wait til 4pm (ASMo) was when we requested connecting rooms. Had DD16, DD14, and DD6 so we needed connecting rooms. All other times we got the room right away. We usually arrive by 9am.

Usually if you check in during the week you should have no problem getting into your room early. Once we flew in on a Wed and were able to get in by 11:00. Weeekends are a different story. Last june CSR was at full capacity and we werent able to get in until almost 5.

We checked in POFQ between 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM on December 19th. The lines were not bad. We walked in and walked right up to the desk and were given all of the info, went to our room and bags were at a door 10 minutes later.

it all depends on the time of year and capacity of the hotel.

we requested it and got it last year at GF in September. at other times we have had to wait; we check our baggage with bell services and get on with our day!

if it was only going to be a matter of an hour or so (like it probably will be when we go this year, we should get to the hotel about 130 (we'll likely get lunch and then by the time we take a preliminary tour of the game room (CR) we'll be ready to check in.

can't WAIT!!!!!! :)

Remember your chances of early check in will be better if you don't have any specific room requests, like wanting a particular building/location. Good luck!

Thanks everyone!! We will be arriving on a Thursay with only two requests ...
1 view-water and
2 non smoking

Hopefully these are obtainable for an early check in.

If not....we will be happy to stow and go!!!!

Thanks again:bounce:
