Any luck getting JB travel credit extended?

We have a $2,700 travel credit on JB that expires on May 15, 2026. This was due to JB cancelling one flight and changing times on the rebooked flight. I asked when it happened if they could just refund the money but they said wouldn't. Before I call them and ask to have it extended I thought I'd check in here and see if anyone has had any success in getting them extended.

Jetblue is generally super accommodating.

If you can't extend maybe pick a few far off flights that have no fee to change or cancel and that should prevent the loss
