Any last minute advice...

I posted this on the Universal/IOA board, but thought it was probably more of a question for the resort experts!

We are leaving in 6 days. I think I've made a pretty good packing checklist. Tickets are purchased. Reservations confirmed. T-shirts made! Any last minute advice?

Oh, one question - The parking is $12/day? I guess then it wouldn't matter how much you come and go, right? Its not $12 every time you pull in the lot is it?

If you have a dollar store near your house,I would purchase a poncho and umbrella for everyone in your party.They came in very helpful on our trip mid august,that way you can keep on going!Have a great trip!!

Confirm the reservation one day before leaving.

If you can, check in as early as possible. Visit Publix to stock a cooler.
You can come and go as much as you want. The $12 a night for parking is automatically put on your bill. They'll ask you at check in if you drove a car.

i agree....excellent advice ....that we took! FYI, that sytrofoam cooler is in the bottled water aisle, not the beer aisle (AND, if that wasn't bad enuf, it was at the end of the aisle on the bottom shelf in the corner!...jeez....)
