Any joy swapping drink for dessert at Caribbean Beach (QSDP)

The last time I was at Caribbean Beach I was easily able to swap a drink for dessert, however since they've redone it, has anyone been successfully able to at Centertown?

I have never asked. I just grab a bottle of water to take into the parks. That way I’m a) not spending a snack credit for water or b) spending extra money to order it and have it shipped or buying it in the gift shop.
