Does anyone happen to know when the next Alex Delaware book is due to be released? I love the series :) I want to ask the guy, "Can't you write any faster?" :)

I haven't read one in a while, but I sure enjoyed the ones I did read.

I LOVE Jonathan Kellerman! I haven't read all of the Alex Delaware series yet though. The one's I've read were fantastic.

I love his books. I also love his wife's books - Faye Kellerman.

My only problem is I tend to have complete amnesia as to which books I have read and keep buying the same ones over again. I will read the back, think it is not familiar, and then three pages into the book, I "remember" everything.

I need a foolproof system like Janet Evanovitch - where she numbers her books :teeth:

I've read all of his books repeatedly.

There were two recent Alex Delaware books. They both were only meh.... not that great.

Now it just seems formulaic and I already can figure out the plots.

Now the son of him and Faye just wrote a book and it wasn't that bad for a debut. I want to say his name was either Jared or Jaret, and it wasn't that bad. The character development is decent and its a good mixture of Jonathan and Faye's writing, with more emphasis on the intelligent writing of Jonathan.

I love Jonathon Kellerman's Alex Delaware novels as well- my dad introduced me to them probably 20 years ago and I've been reading them since then- I have no idea when a new one is out- but I'm sure a google search may leave an answer...

Oh- and I never read Faye Kellerman- but I thought she was his sister- not wife...

And I have problems remembering which one's I've read too- and have started reading the book in the stores before purchasing lol

The last one I read was Gone and was really well written- I got it in hard back when I was stuck in an airport due to weather problems...

I'm sure I missed some others- and I noticed when I purchased that one that he has several non Alex Delaware novels out there- and they are probably just as good but I like the child psychologist detective...

I love Jonathan Kellerman! I just borrowed a few of his wife's books from the library and I'm really enjoying them too.

This has been my experience with most of the serial suspense genre. Besides the Jonathan Kellerman books, I've highly enjoyed the John Sanford "Prey" series and Patricia Cornwell's Kay Scarpetta series as well as a few others. But the most recent books in each series seemed to get annoyingly predictable and stale.

I love both his and his wife's books. I have a lot to catch up on though, because I just can never find enough time to read as much as I used to anymore. :guilty:

I like the Alex Deleware novels...don't care for the author when he goes to another character. His wife's books are okay when she sticks to that couple...the cop and his Jewish wife...but I just tossed her last one in the trash, half read. Like plowing through mud.

I love Alex Delaware! Not to give anything away, but the last one I read had Spike not feeling all that well......

How about Lincoln Rhyme books by Jeffrey Deaver? I have one that I am saving for my mini vacation to the shore this weekend.

I've only just discovered the Alex Delaware novels, and really enjoyed those that I read. They were in a box of old books my mom gave to me.

I agree that not ALL of the Delaware books are good, but for the most part, I find them entertaining. I am up-to-date on all the books. Was just wondering if anyone knew when the next release was going to be.

Glad to see some other Kellerman fans!! :)

See I'm not fond of Faye, because its just blah writing with little bursts of interesting thing.s.

I love his series of books. I have read them all I think. :) He is my favorite reading on an airplane. I will go to the gift shop and think he has another one out and buy it. I will read a few pages to see if I had already read it. When I starting reading I realize that yes I have read it before. I have gifted my copies to FA's when they notice me reading his books. I have had several conversations across the country about his books. Keep them coming.
