Any interest in a NC - Raleigh area meet?

Is anyone interested in having a little DIS meet in the Raleigh area?

I keep seeing all these meets around the country and thought.. How about we have one in NC. I know there are a lot of DIS'ers from NC as you all helped me when I moved here a few months ago. I think I met someone from NC a few years ago at the Swan/Dolphin meet in Dec.

I have no idea of a location etc as I spend most of my days driving around in circles in Cary. Lets just gage interest and go from there.

Virginia Beach is not that far from Raleigh, depending on when it is, I might be able to swing that....if you don't mind a Virginian to attend. Please keep me in mind, if you decide to set this up.

Sounds interesting!! I live in Farmville, NC (about an hour's drive east of Raleigh) and think it would be fun to meet other DISer's!!

Depending on where and when I am interested as well - I live in Fort Mill SC....which is 15 minutes from Charlotte NC.

Have family in Cary. Could use DIS meet as excuse to visit them....We used to live on fringes of Durham, in RTP area.

North Carolina Museum of Art (has a park/trails)http://www.ncartmuseum.org/

I am going to hijack this meet (unless beachwarmer comes back and wants to take control), so hopefully I will have extra time this weekend to message everyone and try to come up with a game plan. I was thinking along the lines of NC Belle and meeting at Crabtree mall for lunch/dinner, but I am up for any suggestions. Hope to see you all soon!

The August meet is planned for August 7th at 2pm at the Chili's on Glenwood Ave (near Pleasant Valley Rd). If I somehow missed you on the invite list or you are just seeing this post and you'd like to come please let me know and I will add you to the reservation.

Also I will not be able to plan anything for a September meet because I have a trip to NY and Disney. I will plan another one in October though so don't think I left you out next month. As long as people want to come I will keep sending out the invites and you can always check here for updates too.
