We are at WDW 2/27 - 3/6 staying at the Dolphin. Here is what we have planned:

2/27 - should be at Dolphin by 3pm, check in then head to Epcot for a while, then IllumiNations cruise at 8:15.
2/28 - MGM in morning with EE, then head to MK for PS at Crystal Palace 5:45 (their last seating?)
2/29 - WOS (step-daughters cheering) all day or until they are bumped out.
3/1 - MY B-DAY!! AK in morning with EE, then MGM in late afternoon with PS for Fantamic dinner pkg at 4:15
3/2 - Epcot all day with PS for Ice Cream Social at 3
3/3 - DQ/DTD for the day, then HDDR at 7:15. If time in between head to WL to check out the resort.
3/4 - MK all day with EE
3/5 - PS at Chef Mickey's 9am, and PS at O'Hana's at 6:15 pm, fill in the day with whatever we missed/want to go back and see again. Probably be a MK day.

Thinking of switching 2/28 to AK then spending all day on 3/1 at MGM. This way not so much running around. What do you think?

Also thinking of getting 7 day PH passes. We have 6 definite park days, and would like to have the extra day if cheering or DQ/DTD day is cut short.

Thanks for your advise!!!

Not to shabby-

A couple of thoughts, though--

1. Yes, I would make the switch to be at AK on 2/28 and MGM on 3/1. That eliminates a lot of the running around.

2. I would make sure that would are taking mid-afternoon breaks on these "all day" days.

3. I would definately make time to see the Wilderness Lodge. If you decide to go from DTD to Wilderness Lodge directly, I believe that will make getting to the HDD easier (I seem to remember a bus that went through FW from WL, but I could be wrong).

Sounds like you'll have a great time!!

Everything looks good! Doesn't look like you'll be rushing yourself to death. I do agree that you should change those 2 days around, rather than 1/2 days.

I wouldn't worry about afternoon breaks...you're at Disney! Who the heck wants to take a break?! We just go all day, take our time and go with the flow. No marathons.

I definitely recommend getting the 7 day pass, you can always have them for next time! And the more days you get, the cheaper they are. When we just bought tickets for our trip last week, it was only $20 more to bump our 4 day pass to a 5 day! I did this, to save for next year!

Have a blast! ;)

Not really a change, more just 2 thoughts. When we stay at the Swan we always seem to end our day at Epcot. It is always opened later than the other parks and we can either take the boat back to the hotel or even walk. (It is a very nice walk at night.) We just head over to Epcot after the other parks close and get a nice snack and maybe a ride on test track or something. The other thought is we usually shop at the Boardwalk not DD. It is an easy walk, and they have the same merchendise. DQ is worth the trip over though. Enjoy and good luck to the girls!:teeth:

I've taken your advise and switched the parks for 2/28 & 3/1, it just made more sense. In a way I'm glad... I am really looking forward to seeing The Lion King show and now I get to see it on my first full day!

I'll take a guess that it's World of Sports, since the girls are in a cheering competition... ;)

I think your plan looks great. On 3/1 you could do Epcot 1/2 day and MGM 1/2 day, and then on 3/2 you could do MGM in the a.m. and Epcot in the pm, or the other way around depending on EE's, etc. When we stayed at the Dolphin, we liked going to two parks a day with a break in between, but we had napping children and were there during long hours. The nice thing about staying in the Epcot area is you can be flexible.

yes it is World of Sports. We'll be at Milk House probably most of the day.

I've been debating the mid-afternoon break/nap thing. My DSs will be 11 & 8 when we are there. Their normal schedule is up by 6:30, out the door by 7:15, school, karate practice, homework, dinner, shower time, in bed reading by 8:15, lights out by 9. As long as we aren't going commando in the parks running everywhere, I think we'll be able to forgo the nap. I'm also thinking that if we miss a bunch of stuff, I can convince DH to go back in Oct and the boys could compete in karate Nationals.
