I had this for a few years and have never seen another one... Not that it would be in many pin bags being a framed set and all. But any info would be great.
I don't know about the framed set, but the pins come from Disneyland's 30th anniversary celebration. They were giving out the pins when you entered the park. Pinpics has some info on the individual pins:
As already mentioned, I have never seen these pins in a complete set or framed. I have a few that I have traded from cast lanyards, where they are not too uncommon to see. Only judging by that I have always wondered how many were made.
Nice framed set though.
Totally guessing that it is a Cast Member set. They did change a couple of the pins over the promotion period because of the sharp points. Those 2 pins were the Donald Tomorrowland and the Pete Sheriff. Which ones do you have in the set? It looks like the rounder edge pins.
There were also 3 of the New Orleans Square Pin. The one in your framed set is listed on Pin Pics as the last one to be released. The round edged Pete & Donald (later release) and the last NO Square.
If your pins are the pointed ones.......this theory goes out the window!!!
Maybe they had a ton of pins left over and decided to make a CM set to unload them. Not like they haven't done THAT before!!
