Any info on the Celebration Hotel?

Just how far is this resort from the Magic Kingdom?
Is it a hassle to get the free transportation to Disney?
How far from the cruise port is it?
Anyone know if they shuttle you to the airport?

The hotel is about a 10-minute drive from Magic Kingdom.

Their transportation to Disney requires you to make a reservation. Frankly it's best to have a rental car when staying at Celebration Hotel.

It's about an hour from the cruise port.

No hotels near WDW will shuttle you to and from the airport, which is 20-30 minutes away. You'll have to pay for ground transportation of one kind or another.

Thank you so much for the airport/shuttle info. I have been driving myself crazy looking for a hotel that would include a free shuttle transportation.

My husband does not want to fool with a rental car. We are going to taxi to a hotel near Universal, pre cruise. Then take a limo from the hotel to the port and back to a Disney hotel. I guess we will taxi back to the airport as well.

I have always wanted to see this town of Celebration. The website says that shuttles run 4 times in the morning. We are not getting to a hotel until around 11:00 (depending on when we disembark the ship) and we want to unload the luggage and refresh before heading to the park.

The Celebration has a great rate over a little over $100 a night for the dates we are looking into. We would book two rooms for one night and do 1/2 day (we have been several times) Magic Kingdom on the day we disembark the cruise. Our plane leaves at 11:20 am the following day.
