Any info on Garden Grove at the Swan?

In my hunt for my one ADR this afternoon a nice lady said I should try there. I have never even heard of it and can't find much info about it here either. What is dinner like there? The food, the characters? I just read it's not a DDP place, which won't matter to us - but why isn't it?

Hi cant help you alot sorry, but I'm hoping to book a meal there on our first evening (a Monday). As far as I can find out twice a week they have the Characters from the Lion King there and then other characters on other nights.

Hopefully somebody will be able to give us both the information we need

We just had a weekday breakfast there this past week. I think it's a very nice, comfortable place. The food we had (waffles and bananna stuffed french toast) was REALLY good. There are no characters during the weekday breakfast but there are on the weekends and for all dinners.

Thanks for the link, it looks like it has a really great atmosphere if the pictures are anything to go by, I cant wait to eat there.

It was a really pleasant atmosphere. I'm sure it's overlooked a lot. We called to see if they had dinner reservations available one night. We weren't sure if we were going to eat there or somewhere on the Boardwalk. We wound up on the Boardwalk but Garden Grove did have a dinner reservation available at 7pm if we had wanted it.

Ah really, Lion King? They told me Pluto and Goofy, but then of course...all characters are subject to change...
