Any info on Doubletree suites in Downtown Disney?

Is it clean, recently renovated, nice pool, etc etc ?????

I also posted not too long ago asking about this. I got some less than favorable responses. I wasnt even going to pay for the room, just using hilton points. I think we are glad we are saving our hilton points for either future sea world or park hopper tickets. We chose the swan instead for our family of five and got a govt. disct. to boot and frequent flier miles. Can't beat that.

We got three nights for $199 last summer. It was okay, but if I could stay in a Disney resort, I'd do that. If it was stay at the Doubletree Suites or not go, I'd stay at the Doubletree Suites. We also had three nights at AKL Concierge and 6 nights at BCV, so our stay only got better. We also got free Seaworld tickets with our stay there.

We stayed there a couple years ago pre-Disney and our room was very clean.The buffet was great too.
