Any info on city and dates for Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montanna Concert Tour?

How many minutes later I finally talked to a live person....No tickets left. Completely sold out. So in my dejected voice I asked how at 10:01 could they be sold out because that is what is showed me online. I kind of felt sorry for her as she explained that they have over 100 representatives taking orders blah blah blah. I did try to say really in 60 seconds, but I didn't feel like bashing her because it wasn't her fault. I quietly said thank you and hung up. She said she was sorry. She actually sounded like she meant it and not at all like a rude representative that I have encountered on other occasions.
I thought about trying for 2 tickets to start with online this morning, but I wanted my whole family to get to go. My son (6) likes Hannah Montana too and I didn't really want to tell him only me and his sister gets to go. I did try to put 2 in after 4 was rejected just to see, but it was a 0. Oh well. I told my daughter and I am more disappointed then she is.
Now I can get something done today since a live person told me they were sold out.
For all of you who got tickets. Congrats!!!! :goodvibes :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

I had DH, DSis, DMIL, DSIL, DS, cousin (don't know if there's a abbr.), and my friend all trying! Everyone was logged onto well before and refreshing and also several of them were calling several of the different IL ticket numbers. We probably had 10 total ways trying to get in! I am SO mad! First, the "pre-sale" (AKA- waste of my money) and now this. I was hoping that since Chicago is on a Sat. and she doesn't have a Friday show, she might add. That's the ONLY reason, I didn't cancel my Miley membership after Tuesday, just in case they would send us an update this week! I know that's pretty wishful thinking, but at this point, I'm trying to think positive thoughts to keep me from screaming! Again, I will say that these are little kids and this whole scalper thing Ps me off! Whoever suggested the investigative reporting thing- I hope you look into that and see if someone would find something. Than maybe, that would get enough people in IL to call Springfield to make scalping not legal. I plan to call or write, but really, what's my little one call gonna do? Good luck to all of you as time goes on. Hopefully they will release more and we can get our girls in.

I got to see Miley's first concert. Okay, it was her Dad's show and she wanted to sing on stage. So he flew her in to sing at his show in Atlantic City. I think she was 5 or 6. Now I wish I had taken more. BRC pictures are great, but the pictures of Miley aren't. But they'll do.

Sorry for all those that didn't get any tickets. Because I was curious, I logged on this morning at 9:55am for the general on sale at Greensboro. I started refreshing at at 9:57am. When it came back to search for tickets, I put in 4 "best availble" to see if any would come back. It did, with upper level 10th row looking at the stage. I could not buy them because we already had tickets and I did not want my other order cancelled. For fun, after releasing those tickets, I tried again for 4, 2, and 1. I never got another ticket offered to me.

Folks might want to keep checking everyday next week at 10am sharp. It won't hurt and if they truely enforce that "1 order per household" rule, there may be some tickets put back on sale.

I would check everyday from now until the concert. You never know when some seats may "pop" back up.

Good Luck!

Nothing here for the Atlanta show. Same as everyone else. I don't understand how after 1 minute they are sold out. Oh wait, I do, the ticket brokers. They are scum. The best seats at the Atlanta show go for $1,300.00 from some of the brokers!! The cheap seats are $200.00. That's just sick. Come on this is a show for kids. I'll keep trying but I'm don't think anything will come of it.

I tried today for the San Antonio show. I was ready to go at noon when they went on sale. I kept trying for a solid 3 minutes. I finally got 2 tickets- they are not great seats and I paid top dollar for them- no idea why the nose bleed are so expensive. I am not complaining though- my DD and I are excited and very grateful that I got what I got.

Wow, Sally, those are precious! A little bit of history, huh? :)

BRC will usually sign autographs from the stage after the show. She was standing next to him. It's the first picture posted. Someone asked her for her autograph and she looked at her Dad. He told her to "go ahead, if she wanted to sing, she had to get used to it". So she signed the CD they had for her. It was really cute. I went to a show with a friend, and will say, he has the most amazing, loyal, fans I have seen for any performer. He treats his fans like gold and knows many of them by name. Miley certainly has a good role model when it comes to fan appreciation. It would be nice if the apple didn't fall far from the tree.

Well, no tickets here in Columbus, Ohio either. I was online and on the phone at 10 exactly. I also had 2 friends online at that time also. I hit submit like 10 seconds after they were available and there were no tickets. I also think there is something wrong here. I have been to see many huge concerts in my days and I have never seen them sell out this fast :confused3 :confused3

We will not buying tickets from a broker. My kids understand, but I feel horrible. It is not a money issue, it is principle. I do not think they should be able to mark the prices up so high. We will just do something fun that night.

Good luck to anyone else with upcoming release dates.

Good for you for not going to a broker! I am SO tempted to get tickets- but how am I supposed to justify spending $215.00 EACH for me and DD to go? DD understands too, but it breaks my heart to think how she just heard the commercial last night (I had kept it from her that there was a concert just in case this happened). After she heard it, it was "oh do think she'll sing this" and "when she sings this, I'm going to dance like this..." I guess that's what the brokers are banking on though! Moms like me who would try to do anything for their kids even spend ridiculous amounts for a ticket.
FYI- I went on a certain ticket resale site (don't know if I can say the name) and they had 1033 tickets for sale for the Chicago show alone priced from $200-$2000 each. And that's just one well-known site. Imagine all the other big websites and all the little local ones... it just makes me sick thinking about it! Stay strong ladies! Keep checking Ticketmaster and TRY not to get tempted like I am finding myself!

Don't quote me but I believe my husband said that scalping is no longer illegal. Thanks to one of the amendments. Mayby that's whats going on. Because I don't recall in the past haveing all these sites with these ridiculous prices. Very fustrating.

Still no dates close to us. We were hoping the Nov. 16th TBD on mileyworld would open something up. Nothing. My poor daughter checks everyday. The closest one was 6 hours away on a school night! She understands that we couldn't do that.

So anyway, here's my idea that I am doing for her since we can't make a concert. My daughter's birthday is Oct. 24th, so I am taking her to Libby Lu's which is about 1 1/2 hours away in Baton Rouge to do the full Libby Lu Hannah Montana makeover. I will let her bring 3 or 4 friends with her. It's only $27.50 per girl. That's not bad. They get the wig, microphone and they get to make their own make-up or lip gloss, etc. and they do karoke after they're all made up.

Not the concert, but she'll enjoy it!

It is amazing to see how many tickets are available for the Chicago concert on Stub Hub alone, starting at $170! They make it impossible for an average person to purchase a ticket at face value!

I refuse to buy a ticket from any form of reseller, so we're not going. My girls are okay with it, even though they are pretty dissapointed they will be missing the concert.

Well after an hour of trying on tuesday and an hour of trying (calling and online ticket sales) I go nothing. What made it worse is that the houston concert didn't go through ticketmaster so it was even harder to get tickets from that venue. I am so mad right now b/c I am sure its more ticket brokers than anything that got the majority of the tickets and the price they want is ridiculous so we didn't get tics for her bday. Maybe next time. :sad1:

That is ridiculous 1033 tickets for one broker  I can not believe it. Right there is the problem. I don't know about you, but I was only allowed to buy 4 tickets! I also think scalping is no longer illegal in some way or another. We got to the Ohio State football games and there was a guy standing next to an the officer directing traffic with a handful of tickets and wearing a sign that said "I NEED Tickets" :confused3.

I am also a mom who will do just about anything for my children, as I am sure most of the moms on here are. Who else would stay up all night haunted by the thought of not getting Hannah Montana tickets :) Anyway- I explained to my kids that the tickets were all sold out. I told them the majority of the people who got them were companies just trying to sell them for a lot of money, to make money. I explained that this money was not going to Hannah Montana and that it was not fair. They were upset, but agreed that we will plan something fun for that night. I would not fault anyone for buying them from brokers, but I just will not do it. I hope they are stuck with most of those tickets.

I love the idea of going to Libby Lu for the Hannah makeover. I just don't think all of the convincing in the world will make my 8 year old son want to do it :lmao:

She is coming to Cleveland Ohio, maybe I will join the fan club and try for pre-sale tickets to that show. I would rather spend my extra money on a hotel for the night that give it to the people who in my opinion stole them from the kids.

Please don't waste your money on the fanclub- you will still probably not get tickets. As I'm sure you've read, most of the presales sold out immediatly too! If you'd like to try I'll give you my presale code- I never got tickets so technically I could still get 4 at two different venues- as if!:rotfl2: Seriously, I'm not going to use the "waste of time and money membership" so PM me if you want it. That goes for any Disers- PM me if you want to try.

BTW- you're littlest one is ADORABLE! Don't get me wrong all of your kids are beautiful, but those little pigtails kill me every time I look through this thread! So cute! My littlest one is three and still barely has enough hair to pull some up on top :confused3 It is curly though- so maybe someday we'll get cute little pigtails too!!:)

Thank you for the advice on the fan club. I am glad I didn't go ahead and join. I sent you a PM.

Thanks for the compliments on my children... We all think Katie is the cutest thing ever :goodvibes . My older kids are always saying "Katie is sooooo cute" while rolling there eyes. They love her, but I am sure they get tired of hearing it. People are stop us all the time and tell us how cute they think she is. It doesn't help that she is such a ham and loves all of the attention.

I will also add that I think all of my kids are beautiful. There is just something about a cute baby/toddler that I love.

Here is my favorite picture of Katie. This is actually the photo that got her picked up by two modeling agencies. We have since found out that while she is a ham, she is not cooperative and doesn't have the personality for modeling yet :rotfl2:

I'm watching the Emmy's right now on Channel 5, and a local Atlanta news station just did a preview for the program with "Many local parents upset because of the lack of available tickets for a popular teen pop stars concert" and showed a pic of HM. Can't wait to watch and see what's said. This whole thing is ridiculous.
