Does anyone know if there are any incentives to adding on with the disney visa? Is there an extended interest free promotion? I thought this may have been offered in the past. If we add on at AKV summer would be a better time to pay it off. Thanks.

Well we just added AKV and got $2k @ 0% for 6 months. But remember they apply the payments you make first to the 0% and you still pay intrest on any other stuff you have charged.

So if it's a card you use for ANYTHING else, you'll pay intrest on the other stuff.

I have one and ONLY use it for 0% stuff, so resort stays, and the downpayment on the AKV.

I WISH my AKV stuff would get here.

Ditto. 6 months no interest on down payment. Just be sure that everything else is paid off.

I'm going to have to double check my account. I paid $2325 last monh for an add on and I'm pretty sure they have the total amount as 6 months no interest .

edit to add : I'm home from work and the Chase statement has full amount for 6 months no interest.

Thanks. We have a down payment on a disney cruise that has 0 % until May and make sure we pay everything else every month. I just use my disney visa for places that don't take American Express. :)

Well I know we took a trip down to Disney and we put the just about everything on it. And when we got home we paid the minimum, the next month there was like a $10 charge, we called and asked about it. That was when we where pointed to two facts. It's only the resort stay+tax that is 0%, and they get to credit your account how ever it's most favorable to them.

So now we keep my card clear of every thing but 0% stuff.

Our guide told us it was only the first $2k that was 0% so we split it $2k on one card and the rest on another card.

Mark it up to. Once burned, twice shy. Not that the interest killed us or anything but you know we like to spread it out if we can. 0% is too good to pass up.

Going to be doing the add-on and wondered if the Disney Visa deal is automatic or do I need a code?

I think it's automatic. I know for the resorts it is.

However, I would make sure your guide knows you want the 0%, doesn't hurt, and if they have to check a box or something they will know you want them to.
