You see, my family and I are going to Disney World for the first time next Summer and my dad has a back and neck injury where any rough rides like roller coasters could kill him, and I really don't want him to feel left out, any suggestions on how he could still have fun without going on anything that could potentially kill him?:confused3

Well... you're in luck!... there are thousands of things to do and see at Disney.. You will see, it's hardly a place for thrill rides, so, if you skip the "BIG RIDES".. there's still plenty to do and he won't feel left out. Many of the attractions are "boat rides" through multiple scenes of audio animatronics... nothing that will hurt you. Jungle cruise / small world / pirates/ living with the land .. there's plenty of shows, Festival of the Lion King.. (personal favorite) multiple 3d shows :3dglasses/ indian jones / car stunt show, back stage tour / universe of energy / haunted mansion/ spaceship earth... ... tiki room, There's the train ... I can go on and on... The fireworks and parades.. shopping!!
Many things just go at a slow pace, but / I would avoid TOT/ test track / Dinosaur Space Mnt / RNR / Splash Mtn// thunder Mtn
You wont be disappointed.. ENJOY your 1st trip... you'll be hooked. Promise...:thumbsup2

About the only attractions I can think of that dad would not be able to do is the mountains including everest the animal safari an rockin rollercoaster. All of which are among the most popular attractions in the parks with the longest waits by not riding those you save yourself some time an get to do more things dad can do.

If dad is any kind of a Beatles fan at all be sure to take him to see British Invasion 1 day to see all their shows they do a different stage of beatle tunes an outfits every show thru out the day.

Many many other fun shows in the world showcase as well.

Thank you guys for your help!!:thumbsup2 My dad will be very happy to hear about this!!:goodvibes

He could go to Disney Quest and design his own roller coaster with no health risk. Maybe this would be fun for him.....Virtual roller coasters. My mother had quadruple bypass this year and she is not hesitating going again this year. There is so much to do that he can do that does not include rides that could injure him. There is a LOT of walking, so you might consider renting him a scooter from a local company. Randy's and Walker's run about $28-$35 per day. EPCOT is the largest park, I think. At minimum, I would rent him a scooter from the park for the day you will be there. Have a great time and don't worry about dad.
