My family of five went to WDW in January and stayed at the Poly. Had the most amazing time of our lives - now I am obsessed with going back. I stayed there several times in the early seventies as a child with my family so it was extra special for me to be there again. Forget going anywhere else for vacation - now I'm trying to come up with ideas on how this stay-at-home mom can earn some cash to help pay for a yearly visit. Any ideas? The more money the better. (ha ha)

ebay? Do you make anything that you could sell on ebay? Scrapbooks/blankets/etc? Do you have old clothes that instead of giving them away you could sell? (this is what I'm doing at the moment...) ;)

Can you pick up a small job at night at a local store?

:thumbsup2 I am a SAHM and we just bought into the DVC. So now we are going to WDW every year and it is my job to come up with half the spending money. (the more I come up with the longer and more fun we can have)

I did it last year I sold on ebay, garage sales, babysitting, We have a budget and I do the 1950's cookie jar where what I save in the grocery money goes in my savings for disney. :coffee:

If you are crafty there is craft fairs, to make something and sell it, I know a woman who cleans some houses while her kids are in school for extra cash. but I can't keep my house cleaned so that one isn't for me. :goodvibes

Have a garage sale.

My mom & I have one every year (she only lives 10 minutes away) for extra spending money for the May Disney trip she always takes me & the kids on.

Last year, we made $700.00.

The year before....$800.00. :cool1: :cool1:

I babysit two days a week, $50 a week right into the disney fund! :cool1: Now, I wouldn't want to babysit everyday though.

I wait tables once a week. I know it is not something everyone can do but I put myself through college waiting tables and I now work Sunday Lunch and Dad takes the kids to church and gets to spend that time with out MOM being in charge! A Win win for us!

There are lots of ideas on the budget board--too many threads to list all the links.
