Any ideas for our Christmas surprise?

Hi everyone,
We are thrilled to be able to rent from a DVCer and are starting to prepare for our Spring Break trip at the BCVs. I am so excited! We are not telling our 12 and 7 year old about this until Christmas as we are planning on giving it to them as part of their Christmas presents. Does anyone have any creative thoughts on what we could wrap up or do to spring our surprise to them on Christmas morning? I am just now starting to think about it and would love to hear from some of you! Many thanks for your suggestions!

You could get a copy of Walt Disney world for Kids (I think its a Birnbaum guide) and wrap it up or some disney ornaments, park passes in a stocking, character autograph book, etc.

You could buy Disney dollars at a Disney store for their stockings and a couple pins with a lanyard to start some pin trading.

My SIL did this a few years ago when her 4 kids were ranging in age from 8-14. She gave them each a suitcase. They all opened their suitcase eagery, to find nothing in it but an envelope! Needless to say, they were a little dissapointed until they opened the envelopes and found WDW tickets in them!

We are giving our kids a Disney vacations for Christmas this year as well except we leave Christmas day!!! We are going to buy some helium Disney balloons and tie park hopper passes to the strings. Wrap them in a box so when they open the box they get a big surprise. Also planning on having 'When you wish upon a star' ready to play on the cd player to time it when they open the boxes. Pretty corny eh? My wife and I are truly Disney freaks

I love scavenger hunts; start with a wrapped Disney gift of some sort with a clue to find another note - leading up to a final revealing gift....like the Vacation Video from WDW, already in the VCR, marked play me.....

you could even relate the clues to Christmas itself, to keep the meaning...

oh my goodness! Ive been so involved in planning our MAGICal cruise in 2 wks that I havent given much thought to Christmas morning! However, before we leave for our cruise I will have us booked at the Wilderness Lodge Villas for next October. I cannot see how I can possibly get off that ship without our next vacation in the planning stages!
So Christmas morn DH will be finding Disney dollars in his stocking - he just got more yesterday for his honor report card. "Mom please put these with the rest of my DD" (He gets them for all occasions)
Its me who collects the pins, he's not into the characters, we have the WL mugs - cant think of anything else for his stocking

Disney DVC or WDW has traditionally offered free (marketing) videos, describing the wonders of WDW. Give them a call and ask. We let the kids watch a video, with a taped ending telling them we were going and when.
If they can’t get them to you soon enough, contact your local travel agent to see if he/she has Disney (vacation planning) videos available for you to borrow for Christmas morning.

Last year Toys R US gave away a big Mickey Mouse with a $100 purchase. Christmas evening after dd had all her presents we put Mickey on her bed with a letter from him asking her to come see him the next day. We were waiting downstairs (it seemed like it took forever for her to notice the letter). It was a great surprise.
