Hi,
just wondering if anyone had an item that sold really well at a school bazaar? It doesn't have to be something I can make. It could be something I could buy in bulk. Thanks any suggestions greatly appreciated just looking to make some much needed funds for our school! :thumbsup2

I used to do a Christmas bazaar at my kids' elementary school, and since I'm terminally un-crafty, I always bought stuff to sell. There was a $5 per item limit, so I watched for sales and got a lot of stuff at Oriental Trading Company (they have a catalog and are also on-line). Some of the biggest sellers were plastic "inspirational" bracelets (like the Livestrong ones, but with things like "dream", "believe" etc on them), inexpensive stuffed animals, Matchbox/Hot Wheels cars and small Lego sets, Nerf footballs and baseketball/hoop sets, Claire's jewelry (bought at their 10/$5 sales). Candy was also a big seller -- candy canes, since it was Christmas and almost any kid could afford 10 cents for a candy cane -- and candy packaged in Christmas tins or mugs.

If it's a school fund raiser, talk to local stores and see if they'll sell you some things at cost -- they get good PR and your school gets the profits. Good luck :flower3:
