When i go to disney my son will be 1, i want to do him a welcome pack in which i will put a little cuddly toy, a few figures and an autograph book, does anyone have any other ideas of what else to put in there?? :confused3

The Dollar Tree has alot of Disney toys. What about a new pair of Disney pj's.

I made one for my 18 mth old. I included the following.

Autograph Book
Markers
Disney Spinning toy (buy @ walgreens) that lights up
Disney Store pullback car
Plush Mickey
Epcot passport
Penny Book (for pressed pennies, bought on ebay)
Disney store sippy cup
Lanyard

For my daughter:(6)
Autograph Book
Markers
Singing hanna montana pen (walgreens)
Tinkerbell cup from disney store
Homemade journal
Minnie pirate plush
Passport from Epcot
Disney charms for charm bracelet

Then I am gonna include one of Natalies welcome to Disney cards and then
I am going to ship all this to memories by betsy and she will wrap it all up in a basket and deliver to our hotel so its in our room when we arrive. (cost is minimal):thumbsup2

Hey there!!

I'm also sending my stuff to Betsy at Memories by Betsy (she's amazing!!!). Here are some pictures of what's being included for my basket. A lot of things I got from dollar stores or Ebay. I also ordered some stuff from the Disneyshopping dot com. To save on shipping, you can have packages shipped directly to Betsy to havce included in your baset (just give her a head's up and make sure she's ok with that).

Anyway, on with the pictures!

Besty also has a lot of options on her website too!! She's putting together some things from there with the pictures above (refillable drink mugs for DH and DMIL, embroidered Mickey ears for everyone in our party, a couple of pins for DS3, canvas bag for DMIL and me, cars bath squirters for DS1, I'm sure I've missed something!).

Hopefully that helps a little bit!! Happy shopping and planning!!

If you're looking for something a bit more practical, you can print activity pages off (from this wonderful board!!) to make your own book. (you can also do this with autograph books!!) With that you could include crayons or pens. You could also purchase things you'll actually need to use on your trips-a "themed" first aid kit (character band aids and such), character sunscreen/chapstick/brush/comb/hats/sunglasses/bathing suit/beach towel, a bag to carry everything in at the parks. If you're looking to start pin trading or pressed pennies, you could get some things like that (Natalie has some cute stickers to print off for pressed penny money and I'm sure other do as well!).

With him being 1 I don't know what else you'll really want to include. Have so much fun with your plans!! Feel free to PM me if you need any specifics on anything I posted.

You have got some brill ideas, Im from the UK so a lot of the disney things are more expensive, although i managed to get for my ds1
A pooh bear wash mit
A squeezy ratatouille Remy toy
A pull back ratatouille Emile toy
A tigger mask
Cars Stickers all from the Disney store for half price. Also have got him some books and a beanie Pooh Bear for on the Plane. I will take the advise of printing some activity pages and some t-shirts and invitations of here. And probably get some disney pjs and back pack but maybe i will sneak off and get them from Wallmart on the way back to the Villa.
Thankyou for all the help. :yay:

Thanks a lot, some brill ideas, think my dd1 is going to end up with loads before the holiday starts with all these good ideas.

VERY Silly question I am sure BUT - when you get the welcome pack together - do you just pull it out of your luggage and say "hey look!" or do you some how get it to your room before you show up. and if so HOW?

My son will only be 1 so wont even notice and my sister is 7 and not the most observant of kids so me and my mum are going to have to get in the villa before the kids get in to put it out and do the whole, "WOW, look what we found" scenario.
