Does anyone know anything about an ice cream social that disney offers?

Also, has any been to Spirit of Aloha? Is it fun for the kids? What characters are there? How is the food?

Ice cream social is no longer. They got rid of it last year when The Land went down for refurb.

There are no characters at Spirit of Aloha. There used to be but that has been gone for a while now too.
