Any idea why HS is closing at 5:30 on June 5th?

I was just looking in the App for the Park Hrs for our upcoming trip. Weds, June 5th, was to be our HS day. But now it shows closing time as 5:30 pm. We're wondering what is going on that evening, and if it might mean more people in the park earlier. Any idea as to what is going on at HS on June 5th? Thank you!

Generally an early closing is a private event or cast member event.

An early closing often triggers lower crowds as guests want more time in the park. In reality, these are often perfect days to choose to go to the park and experience lower crowds!

Someone else already mentioned this but its worth emphasizing, it will most likely be the opposite of this. People in general don't want to use a park day on a park that closes, so many without park hoppers will go do a different park. We have never done DHS on a short day, but we have done MK several times and find that its the best time to go. We have been able to accomplish what we would normally need the entire day for, in the short day without problem, leaving a free night to enjoy the hotel pool, shop at Disney Springs, or do whatever else you might enjoy.
