I am looking at Anchor Hocking's "Montana Jars" and not sure what sizes to get for flour, sugar, brown sugar, and powdered sugar. I think the gallon canister looks like it should hold flour/sugar but I'm not very good at eyeballing this kind of thing.

It probably will not hold a 5lb thing of flour. It usually takes a 6 quart container to hold a whole bag comfortably.

I have canning jar type canisters that are about 25 years old. The sizes I have are: 2 liter, 1.5 liter, 1 liter, and 3/4 liter.
