Any hope for any pkg discounts early August?

I have been holding out buying tickets in the hopes that ANY kind of package deal comes out for our dates in August. I have a decent room only price - AAA.

However, do you guys think I am just SOL and should get my tickets through UT and give up hope of any package deal?

We are going August 9 - 19.

Just an opinion of course, but I'd venture that early August discounts are finished if they're moving their way into discounts for the later time periods. There's always a chance they come out with something as it closer if rooms aren't filling.

Ticket prices should be going up too - I am in the same boat. My husband needs an AP but I'd rather wait until we are there later this month if we can, but not sure what the chances are.

The general public code that is on the wdw site right now gives you a discount on the room plus about $12 off of each adult multi day ticket. The dates are only until the 14th, but your tickets would still be discounted and there should be more discounts for the rest of August.
