Hello!

I am getting married in September, and we are taking a 4 night Disney Bahama cruise, and then spending 4 nights in Disney. This will be our first Disney vacation together, He has never been there and I haven't been there without family! So Just looking for some fun honeymoon tips from some other honeymooners :-)

Are you going at the end of Sept? During food and wine? Were honeymoon in Disney in October specifically for food and wine. There are so many extra things you can do for just adults.

I'm also looking forward to watching wishes from the beach at the Polynesian and the California grill. A really nice meal at Victoria and Alberts and watching the animals from our Savannah view room while we eat breakfast.

There are definitely fun extras you can do at the resorts: carriage rides, boat rentals, wine tasting at Jiko, fireworks cruises, walking trails at wilderness. Keep in mind you don't have to be staying at a resort to use it's amenities (besides the pool).

What kinds of things are you into?

We are going the 12th-16th of September. We are trying to not rent a car and so looking to see what the best place to stay would be. We have been looking at Bay Lake Tower.

We enjoy doing lots of things, we love trying new things and eating at nice places. So any tips on places to eat would be great!

if you google search disneymoons or honeymoons at WDW or DCL you will find tons! many threads with great tips come up often here!

my main tips though are to grab yourselves some bride and groom mickey ears (find them online, in the parks, ebay whatever) - fun to wear, get you many compliments! Make sure you pick up some “Just Married” pins upon arrival (guest services at either the resort or any park) AND the have a DCL specific one that you can grab first day on the ship. Make sure you or your TA not all over every reservation anywhere that, yes, you are celebrating!

Congrats!

My friend stayed at bay lake for her honeymoon and loved it! I would recommend looking into renting DVC points, that's what were doing and it's soo much cheaper!
