Are there any places that the majority of people visiting don't know about, something off the beaten path, (sort of like the maze in UK at epcot or hidden mickeys etc) in either US or IOA?

Thanks,
Sharon

Happy Hour is a little known fact in both parks USO & IOA well worth a visit:jester:

There are things in IOA that you probably wouldn't notice if you weren't looking for them.

When you first go in and are walking through Port of Entry, right before the Christmas Store on the right(I think that's where it is) there's a jail, you can see that the prisoner has escaped, left notes to say "bye-bye" even. If you listen very closely, you can hear the Sheriff arguing with the Deputy for allowing this to occur.

When you walk under the second bridge, notice that there are things holding it up and you can hear it creaking.

In Seuss Landing, you can here the Lorax in his tree. There are 2 creatures(I can't remember who they are) that have a fence built around them. They are arguing because they wouldn't let each other pass and they had to build Suess Landing around them.

If I think of any others, I will let you know.

Right by the water, where the boats used to pick up and drop off. It's awesome. Very romantic at night.

Thanks for these great tips!! I will be sure to check out the jail and the creaking bridge on our next visit!! :)

These are great tips!!
I love this kind of stuff! Always looking for the little details, I guess:p

Anymore??????
Inquireing minds want to know!!;)

In Seuss Landing, try to toss a coin into the fishy's mouth at McElligots' Pond.
It's harder than it looks so stand real close. Don't forget to make your wish!

If you go to Dueling Dragons and look at the design on the ground in front of the ride you will see a brass plate. Stand on the plate and face the ride, all 3 near-misses will occur in front of you.

In Marvel Island, there are many pieces of artwork of the various superheros. On each & every one, the artist, Adam, has signed his name somewhere on the piece. Our family had so much fun trying to find all of these. I think there were 3 that we couldn't find.... Here's one to get you going: On the Wolverine artwork, Adam's signature can be found on Wolverine's foot that touches the actual ground.

Some of them are quite easy once you know what to look for, but some are still very difficult.

Also, look for the body imprints on the ground outside of Dr. Doom. I think there were 4 of them that we found.

Ok, I thought of another one. Check out the tree that the Oak Tree Tavern is in. You can clearly see that Merlin is captured in the tree as the tree is definitely a face.

Inside Mythos, there are many different things(creatures really) carved into the "walls" up near the ceiling.

Unicorn tracks embedded in the walk on the way to The Flying Unicorn.

I suggest you make your kids do this!

Those are the Zax, at the Zax Bypass. It's near Green Eggs & Ham.

Also in Suess, don't exit normally through the CITH store. Take the exit to the left and you will see the egg that Horton was supposed to be hatching.

In the MIB queue, try to open the doors you pass by. They'll trigger some sort of neat effect. Just don't try that once you reach the big room with the oval monitor...

In Camp Jurassic, there are cool dinosaur tracks that make dino sounds when you step on them. They're at the bottom of the stairs from the Pteranodon Flyers exit but you can access them without going on the ride (and standing in the horrendous line!)

WOW! Great tips - I will be on the lookout for all of these things! Thanks...
