Any help or advice in booking 2 Rooms.

I have a 7 night package at Pop century with Free Dining originally made for me, my wife, and daughter. All adr's have been made(Cinderella, Be our Guest, etc..) No problem so far, lol. Here is where it gets interesting. We decided last minute to take my mom(take her mind off of family health issues). I could not believe when I called that they were able to add her to my free dining. I then called and was able to add her to all my adr's that I made a long time ago(still amazed). The problem is it is going to be a little tight in Pop Century with 3 adults and 1 child. They are saying that I cannot book her own room without losing the free dining and all of the adr's? (Said she needs her own reservation and cannot be in two rooms at once. They also cannot move us to a suite(art of animation) because they said it would not let them do it and keep the free dining. Any help or advice you can give would be much appreciated.

Keep her on your *free* dining reservation. Make a new room-only reservation for her using a nickname or middle name as her first name (i.e. Mary Smith would become Mary-Jean Smith or M.Jean Smith). DO NOT add the second room to your MDE. DO NOT add tickets to the second reservation. The MB for that reservation will only work to open the door at her room. The MB for the *free* dining reservation will work for park entry and dining, as well as opening the door to your room.

She can ask for a plastic room key card for the second reservation when she checks in if she thinks that it will be too difficult to keep two MBs straight.

I was going to check in under him and just give my mom that magic band for the room only. Your idea seems like a lot less trouble. Thanks for all of the replies. @Marionnette gave a great solution.

She can ask for a plastic room key card for the second reservation when she checks in if she thinks that it will be too difficult to keep two MBs straight.

Another option is to take the 'puck' out of the room-only magic band and carry that to get into the 2nd room.

Just give them her address, phone number and email when you book. The reservation is going to be in her name (or your Dad's) anyway.

You can also order MB's in two different colors - one color for the room-only reservation, one color for the dining/tickets reservation - if that makes it easier to keep track of which MB does what.

When booking the second room, there is simply no way Disney will know it's the same person. I once booked rooms for a mother and daughter who had the exact same names. Like PP said, we put one room under "Liz" and the other under "Elizabeth". They had different addresses and different MDE accounts. Everything worked out fine.
