We have done mnsshp at dl before but not wdw. I don't want it to be just a candy run. What are the don't miss, tips etc? We are going on Halloween night so it will be a full house. Tia

The party is a sell out for sure. We were at a sold out party last year and it was still pretty busy. 20min lines for rides, longer for characters. If you want to see the first parade get a spot at least an hour early.

At our sold out party the crowds didn't even start to thin out until well past 11.

The second parade is usually a little quieter so you could do rides/characters first.

Check the times guide/map it runs 3 or 4 times.

Yes, but don't get caught up in other aspects of the party like we did and keep putting it off until it's too late.

We originally planned to go to the first show, but we saw a short character line, so we got in line, then another line, then another line and oops too late.

Next, we wanted a good location for the parade, missed the next show.

Then we were far away and my son wanted to do a few trick or treat trails (big lines) missed another show.

Then my daughter fell asleep and my son got hungry. :rotfl: You know...always a reason.

So be mindful of times and try to do the things that are important to you. :goodvibes

Splash mountain has like 3 candy spots:thumbsup2

We watched the fireworks from the bridge between tomorrow land and the hub.
Awesome spot.

Good path on the left side of space mountain also. We did this after the villians dance.

We got the haunted ghost/carriage picture in front of Haunted mansion and it is my favorite from the trip.

Do not plan to eat at Columbia Harbor house between 5 and 7 they are closed.

If you want a pic of jack and sally you will be in a 2 hour line up so be prepared.

Other than that just relax and enjoy the atmosphere. So many awesome costumes.
