Any great Standard View room at WL?

Has anyone run across a great standard view room at the WL. I have some great Woods view room numbers but was wondering if anyone got a standard view with a great view also. If you have pictures please post.

Hi,

While the outside views for the standard rooms may not be the best there are Standard View Rooms that open to the Lobby...and that is one of the best views available at Wilderness Lodge.

Thanks for the reply. That would be great having it open into the Lobby. Do any of them have a distant view of the monorail or MK like I have seen in some pictures?????? If not , what exactly is the view? parking lot? Dumpster? Just wondering. Trying to squeeze in a 4 night trip in December after a big spending spree this July at the Poly if you know what I mean

Keep in mind that The Lodge is famous for upgrades...

The information we have over on the Wilderness Lodge FAQ has the following information (this information is located on page 1)

STANDARD ROOMS: All Non-Smoking rooms with 2 Queen Beds.
Located on Floors 4, 5 & 6. On the North (MK) side, they face the service area. There are also 4th floor rooms that overlook the lobby and look out to roof peaks.

Last time we were at WL, we had a standard view that looked out on the WLV pool. I think we were on the fourth floor.

in the past with discounts but not this round. I too wanted to stay there for the first time in a standard room but no discounts of any types were offered for the standard rooms. I could get court yard views at rack rate on the Disney web site but even then the offering comes and goes. It is one place I have not stayed and would like too.

I bet you love WL (We did!!). We had a standard room overlooking the courtyard (it may have been an upgraded view, but there was no mention if it was) and it was fabulous. I think you would be happy with any room there...it is such a fabulous resort.
