I got an October National EA rental from 10/14 thru 10/20 for $153 total back in May I believe. The same rental is way higher now. However, I've been looking at mid January (we need a minivan for that trip.....there are six of us) and if those prices stay where they're at.........I think we may be doing Magical Express. I will not pay $600 for a minivan for the week.

We rented from Dollar for a week - $120.00, using the Orlando Magicard discount code from Mousesavers. I could not use that code on Dollar's site....instead, I had to call and rent the car over the phone. Hey, anything to save some $$!!!

I hold a few ressies right now - but nothing to really write home about.
I have a mid-size SUV with Alamo for $364/total
Full-size SUV with Thrifty for $340/total
Full-size SUV with National for $380/total
These are all 11-day rentals (10/16 - 10/26).

Try Thrifty for mini vans. The code WMRT gives 10% off. Be aware they are offsite and you will need to take a shuttle from MCO to their lot. Their prices have been dropping for those traveling in Aug. Another DIS'r needed a 16 day rental for the end of Aug - early Sept and her total for a minivan ended up being around $483.

What kind of vehicle did you get for that price? I am trying to find a mini-van cheap, but nothing under $350 for me yet.

We have a 10 day minivan through Dollar for late October. When I started looking a couple of months ago I could not find anything under $500. Latest price on my resie is $379.04 with all fees and tax. Hope it comes down even more.

I have a mid-size from Alamo for $151.69. Dates are 10/21-10/27. Not sure I'm going to keep it as we are thinking of trying ME this time.

I got a Minivan through Thrifty for 250.00 for 10/14-10/21. I know they are offsite from the airport, but it was the best I could do.

I'm hoping National prices come down for Oct. before my trip.
